Overview

Yala Peak is a easy trekking peaks and is known for beginner’s mountaineering trip. Yala Peak of height 5550 meter is located in Langtang mountain range. To start this magnificent 18 days trip of Yala peak with Gosainkunda Helambu, we drive to Syabrubesi and start walking as trail passes through less visited ethnic group settlement, lush forest and historic Buddhist settlement of Kyanjin Gompa. There is hike from Kyanjin Gompa to Tserko ri at 5000m. We trek to the Yala peak base camp situated at 4600m then climb the peak easy. From summit, you will have stunning views of Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) and mighty Shishapangma (8027m) on the Tibetan side.
Then head to another prominent destination, Gosainkunda lake; watching the sun rising over multitude of glistening lakes of sacred hindu pilgrimage site. It is believed that this lake was created by Lord shiva. We cross Laurebina la pass of 4609m and trek down to beautiful village of Tarkegyang and Sermanthang before heading back to Kathmandu.
