Just got back from Everest base camp trek. We went to Nepal for Mt. Cholatse expedition. We hired a service from Ramdung Expedition dated from 2014-10-4 to 2014-10-29. We were bit nervous about our selection but Saila and Ramdung Expedition entire team made us very much comfortable like we were old pals moment they picked us from the airport. Management was all perfect or top class. During our whole trip we didn’t have single problem. Guide Pemsang, Babu and Pasang are great. I must say Chewang is a perfect cook. “Specially Potato curry was delicious”. Everything is perfect and no complaints.

I first came into contact with Saila and Ramdung in 1998 on a trek from Jiri to Gokyo and Kala Pattar. The trek was self organised but Saila arranged my travel to Jiri and helped with permits. I liked Saila’s friendly and efficient service, so my partner and I, and sometimes with other friends, trekked with Ramdung several times over the next 15 years, going again at the end of 2013. I have sought quotes from other companies, but stayed with Saila. Why continue using Saila and Ramdung?. Because I have always received timely, excellent and friendly service both o n the trek and while in Katmandu. The guides walk according to my slow pace and are always helpful, patient, informative and cheerful. And Saila has proven to be a good and kind friend.
