The trek route passes through the tiny villages of the different mountain tribesmen of Lingshi, Laya and Lunana. Though fixed in their ways of life and impervious to modernization, they are not averse to welcoming visitors. Along the route, one is likely to see plenty of wild life. The best treat, in this context, is to see the blue sheep or the taking. Of snow leopards, one should be satisfied with seeing their pugmarks on the snow.
