Overview
Annapurna IV Mountain of 7525m height is located at Annapurna mountain range particularly between summit of Annapurna II and III. To climb this peak, we start our journey driving to Jagat via Besisahar. Then we follow famous Annapurna Circuit trail up to Humde. From where the route to Annapurna IV separates. We then have to walk via Sabji khola until we reach base camp at altitude of 4800m. Further climbing to summit requires establishing three camps: camp 1 at 5500m, Camp 2 at 6200m and Camp 3 at 6600m. From base camp to Camp 1 is mainly ice climbing,
likewise camp 2 to 3 is steeper requiring fixed rope and technical climbing. Camp 3 is located at junction of North Ridge of the summit. Camp 3 to summit has some steep slope and pyramid shaped rock on the route. The summit push offers beautiful scenery of Annapurna Sanctuary and is demanding.
