Mardi Himal Trek

10 Days

Overview

The Mardi Himal Trek is one of the most scenic and rewarding short trekking adventures in Nepal. Nestled in the heart of the Annapurna region, this hidden gem offers a perfect blend of breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, rich cultural encounters, and peaceful mountain trails away from the crowds.

The journey begins with cultural exploration in Kathmandu before heading to the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara. From there, the trail winds through charming Gurung villages, dense rhododendron and oak forests, and scenic ridgelines leading toward Mardi Himal Base Camp. As trekkers ascend higher, magnificent views unfold, featuring Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and the entire Annapurna massif.

The highlight of the trek is the sunrise excursion to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m), where trekkers are rewarded with spectacular close-up views of some of Nepal’s most iconic peaks. The relatively short duration, moderate difficulty, and incredible mountain scenery make Mardi Himal an excellent choice for trekkers seeking an authentic Himalayan experience.
